A loved one’s death or incapacitation
is always difficult to deal with; however, it can be even
more difficult when that person has not provided family
members with any sort of direction on how to care for the
loved one, or the loved one’s estate. Having a Will in place
can provide you with the peace of mind and security of
knowing what will happen with your estate in the event of
your death, and can make the legal process much less
burdensome and stressful for your surviving family members.
Likewise, having a Power of Attorney and an Advance Medical
Directive in place allows you to appoint and direct a
trusted family member or friend to make critical choices for
you in the event you are unable to do so for yourself.
Wills, Powers of Attorney and Advance
Medical Directives are normally charged on a fixed fee basis
depending on the complexity of the situation.
